CATHERINE FLYNN'S BIO
Catherine Flynn has over 25 years of experience as a sales and sales strategy
consultant, trainer and coach for global corporations.
She began her banking career in retail banking and created the training function for a
40 branch mutual savings bank, serving the metro-New York City marketplace. She
was responsible for all product sales and service training initiatives.
As Vice President at The Bank of New York, Catherine managed sales development
and leadership training for Retail, Custom, Small Business, Middle Market, and
Mortgage Banking. She was responsible for sales skill and leadership development of
Branch Managers through Senior Executives in the metro-New York City regions,
including Long Island and New Jersey. In this position, she designed and implemented
business development strategies for business to business selling and new product
introductions.
As Senior Vice President for large sales training and consulting companies, Catherine
held positions as manager of instructional design, senior consultant and facilitator. In
this position she consulted with dozens of leading edge sales organizations to build
consultative sales, negotiations, sales presentations, and telephone selling strategies
and skills.
Catherine is co-founder and President of The Bluestar Group LLC, a skill-intensive
consulting and training company specializing in maximizing sales performance by
developing effective sales strategies, tactics and highly refined skills. The Bluestar
Group’s mission is to partner with its clients to achieve
